The demonstration aims to raise awareness of the ongoing Russian war against Ukraine and to call for more international support for Ukraine and its people in their efforts to defend the country against russian aggression. Participants will gather to show gratitude to the German society and government for its efforts to take in over one million refugees from Ukraine. Further, the demonstration is intended to remind the international community of Russia’s ongoing violations of international law, its terror against Ukrainian civilians, as well as the human rights abuses and war crimes being commited by Russia’s occupation forces in Ukraine.
